Who We Are

The Story of Us

The Sciotoville Church of the Nazarene has been serving Scioto county since 1930. That year, 45 believers came together to begin reaching the Sciotoville community with the message of hope and holiness. Since then, hundreds of folks have heard the truth about the love of God. We have reached into the homes of thousands of families. Through our various ministries we continue to follow the biblical mandates to feed the poor, take care of the widows and orphans and speak the truth in love. Throughout each year our church hosts several ministries and community events to show the community that we care as much about the folks who don’t attend our church as we care about the families that attend every week. We especially enjoy a partnership with our Compassionate Ministries Center, The Potter’s House Ministries. We encourage you to check them out on Facebook and this site. If you really want to know who we are, we invite you to stop by and check out how we worship, how we serve and how much we care. We would love for you to be a part of our story. If you choose to visit with us, please make sure you fill out and turn in a Getting To Know You card. We hope to you soon.
